I know I have taken much too long to post about our trip. It sure is true that time flies when you are having fun... and what could be more fun than THE Happiest Place on Earth?
Our trip to Disney World was absolutely awesome! We are so very grateful to have gotten the chance to go. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all of you who made it possible!!!!!!! It was so amazing to see it all through a 2 year-old's first-time perspective :0) Initially, I was a little nervous about C's first plane ride since coming home from Russia. He was NOT fond of flying back then, so I worried he would be afraid and panic. I quickly realized, though, that my fears were unfounded. As soon as C saw how excited his brother and sisters were about getting on the plane and buckling in, he just happily followed along. O.K., I slipped him a few pieces of candy as a diversion too (never hurts :0) ).
Once we got to Disney, Caleb did so well and kept up with the big kids just fine! We met up with my best friend and her family, so there were 7 kids in all! It was so wonderful to finally be together again, and to introduce them to C. Robin's kids were so sweet to C and he fell in love with her 2 girls right away... and I think her son is his newest hero!
Anyway, I could go on and on, but I think pictures will do a better job of showing just how much fun we had. Bear with me... the first picture is not so convincing :0)
First ride... Small World...C tried to muster a smile, but was a little nervous
Epcot- C was warming up to the whole thing, despite the chilly weather (balmy to us!)

Missing one child in this pic. Yes, Andrew had his Russian big bro shirt on.

I'm glad to e-meet you! Thanks for leaving an encouraging word over at my blog.
I'm ready to go back . . . can we go soon? Or, let's talk sunny beaches, snorkeling, coral reefs. We want to do a tropical trip--are you up for it? What am I saying, you're in the freezing cold, you'd probably jump on a plane today!
