Goodness! I have been terrible at blogging lately. Why have I not been posting, you ask? I'm just going to go ahead and admit it...
I'm addicted to the Olympics.
There, I said it. I can't stop watching. And I have succeeded in getting my kids to take up the habit too. There could be much worse things.
Anyway, I am making an atttempt today to pull myself away from the Olympics and post. Gosh, I never even posted about our trip to Disney. We had so much fun! Caleb was finally tall enough this year to ride some of the "big kid" rides. He was soooooo proud of that fact! He was so determined to ride everything he possibly could... even to and past the point of not paying his well-intentioned mother any heed when she warned him about the fact that the Tower of Terror has the word "terror" in it for a reason. Yup, you can guess what I am about to tell you.
Caleb rode the Tower of Terror.
Yes, he is just 3 1/2 years old.
Yes, I felt horrible for caving in to his demands to ride it after the fact.
Yup, you guessed right again- he hated it. As a matter of fact, he was TERRIFIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No surprise. Now he truly understands the word TERROR. Hmmm... I guess Mommy was right after all.
Imagine that.
On the flip side, Caleb got kissed by Snow White. That alone made up for the whole Tower of Terror thing.

A Magical Trip
I know I have taken much too long to post about our trip. It sure is true that time flies when you are having fun... and what could be more fun than THE Happiest Place on Earth?
Our trip to Disney World was absolutely awesome! We are so very grateful to have gotten the chance to go. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all of you who made it possible!!!!!!! It was so amazing to see it all through a 2 year-old's first-time perspective :0) Initially, I was a little nervous about C's first plane ride since coming home from Russia. He was NOT fond of flying back then, so I worried he would be afraid and panic. I quickly realized, though, that my fears were unfounded. As soon as C saw how excited his brother and sisters were about getting on the plane and buckling in, he just happily followed along. O.K., I slipped him a few pieces of candy as a diversion too (never hurts :0) ).
Once we got to Disney, Caleb did so well and kept up with the big kids just fine! We met up with my best friend and her family, so there were 7 kids in all! It was so wonderful to finally be together again, and to introduce them to C. Robin's kids were so sweet to C and he fell in love with her 2 girls right away... and I think her son is his newest hero!
Anyway, I could go on and on, but I think pictures will do a better job of showing just how much fun we had. Bear with me... the first picture is not so convincing :0)
Epcot- C was warming up to the whole thing, despite the chilly weather (balmy to us!)
